JOHNSTONE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The American Institute of Professional Association Group Insurance Administrators (AIPAGIA) is a professional association of insurance administrators who mass-market and service all lines of insurance. The purpose of the organization is to promote a high standard of business principles to gain public confidence and respect. The membership consists of brokers across the United States.

Award: $2,500.

The JEF Scholarship is open to all who meet the eligibility requirements. Selection of the award recipient is at the discretion of the Johnstone Educational Foundation Board of Directors.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. Student enrolled in Insurance, Risk Management or Related Field
2. Student has completed 60 credit hours or is a junior or higher (Graduate students also qualify)
3. The grade point average must be 3.0 or above for all courses taken
4. Planning a career in the insurance industry

SELECTION CRITERIA

1. Demonstration of intent to work in the insurance industry
2. Need for financial assistance
3. Contributions to the community
4. Essay
5. Letters of Recommendation

3. Evolution of the industry over the next 10 years
